Sex Symbol Requirement

Does it have to be all about sex appeal all the time?

Best Summer Body & Bikini

Welcome to “I want it” Wednesday. So, what is it I want? An awesome bikini to wear on a sexy summer body!

No, I’m not going to starve myself. And I’m not going to hit the diet pills or spend money on the latest weightloss gimmick. I’m going quit the unhealthy junk food and soda. And I’m going to do things the old fashioned way, hard work and sweat.

Bikini Lust List :

These are all gorgeous but pricey. Regardless, they will motivate us to step away from the dessert table. Lol

Great workout for the summer body you’ve been wishing for:

This workout rocks! It’s fast, hard and boy oh boy will it make you sweat!

You can get a group together and split the cost that way you’ll have an instant support team and no one will have to break the bank.

Time to make it happen!

Niki

Timeless Style Inspiration

Kate Middleton embodies class, elegance and poise. I love her classic style.

AnnaLynne Bares It All!

Stay calm…stay calm, I’m not talking nudity! Lol. AnnaLynne McCord recently tweeted this to her fans

“I woke up this morning and decided I’m over Hollywood’s perfection requirement. To all my girls (and boys) who have ever been embarrassed by their skin! I salute you! I’m not perfect–and that’s okay with me!”

The bold beauty also included a photo of herself without a drop of makeup.

And to top it all off, she has continued her all natural beauty look and happily posed for photographers at JFK on May 6.

Major kudos to you Miss McCord. I strongly believe in your message, Hollywood’s perfection requirement is completely absurd!

Prom Dress Giveaway!

Happy Friday!

I would love to pass on my prom dress to someone. My parents were kind enough to spend $225 on my beautiful dress but I only wore it once a few years ago and will probably never wear it again. I would like to thank my parents by paying it forward and making someone else’s prom extra special. If you are or know someone very deserving and unable to afford a dress of her own please email me her story: Niki@LoveNiki.com

The dress below has a shape similar to mine and I will post actual photos of it soon. Prom may have passed for some of you but there’s always next year and other formal events to think about ;)

I hope you’ll help me bring happiness to a wonderful & deserving girl by sharing her story with me!

Love,

Niki

More details below

Sizing: I wear a size 5 in pants & small/medium in shirts. The dress fits perfectly if you’re about that size. We can discuss specific measurements if you are unsure about sizing.

Giveaway: I will announce the winner in June after reading and reviewing all the emails I receive.

Story: I will contact you for your permission before I feature any part of your story on LoveNiki.

Glitter Kiss

Seems only right to show you these pretty little glitter pouts since I featured sparkling eyes earlier. It’s probably difficult to eat or drink with these lips without getting a mouth full of glitter but I’d still love to learn how to do this without becoming an ooey gooey glittery mess.

I Want It Wednesday: Fashionable Little Ones

One day, a long long time from now, I want a cute little one of my own to dress up. This weekend there were 2 very fashionable little ladies out and about.

Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter, Maddie, celebrated Cinco de Mayo in a white sun dress and jean jacket. Maddie will turn 4 next month.

Little miss Dannielynn Birkhead, wore an adorable white and yellow spring dress to the Kentucky Derby this past Sunday. She paired it with a bright flower hat that perfectly completed her ensemble. Can you believe she’s already 5!

Money vs. Beauty

“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.” – Denis Waitley

How much do you spend a month on “looking good”? With beauty and fashion as my big interests, it’s easy to over spend. It’s also easy to get caught up in the glitz and the glam and forget what is really important in life. So it’s time for a reality check. Take a week to jot down where you spend your hard earned cash, and be honest. I love clothes as much as the next girl but I also love life and want to make the most out of it for myself and those around me. I think we’re smart enough to find a way to look good and live well, it’ll just take a little more effort ;)

What beauty wants have I spent money on in the last week? Hmm…

Haircolor $10. Manicure & Pedicure $45 (uh oh). Concealer $4. Nail polish $3. Blouse $15. $77 dollars!!! Wow…it really does add up.

More money talk next week!

Niki

60 Second Guide to Getting Out of Debt

4 Simple Steps for Creating a Personal Budget

Beginner Basics: How to Shop for Makeup on a Budget

Drugstore makeup can achieve some great results but I have also tried out plenty of disappointing drugstore bargain products. If you’re looking to build a good quality and affordable makeup kit, here’s what I recommend  ;)

Because there are always new products coming out I will need to do some more experimenting soon!

$8 Foundation: Maybelline’s Dream line works magic. Real magic. It’s doesn’t sink into pores and creates a smooth flawless finish.

$4 Concealer: Rimmel concealer blends in nicely and offers moderate coverage

$3-$4 Blush: Covergirl blush adds a natural looking pop of color that blends in seamlessly

$12 Mascara: Revlon got it oh so right with this mascara. After dealing with every mascara problem imaginable, I finally found Grow Luscious. It’s one of the pricier drugstore mascaras but I promise it’s worth it.

Drugstore Tips:

1.Don’t buy something you dislike just because it’s on sale

2. Be careful with makeup that lingers around the $1 realm. There are very few good $1 makeup buys

3. Be sure you pick the right color, ask for help…take a friend….whatever you have to do, do it. The wrong color can make a great product seem pretty sucky.
