Hi guys, so I’ve been thinking about how many of my readers I left here on the wordpress community when I became self-hosted. It’s one of those blogging lessons no one really mentions!
I decided to try and post more often on this site so that I can reconnect with you. And if you ever want to see more of what I’m sharing, you can head over to my main blog LoveNiki.com
Lately I’ve been a busy little bride to be! Luckily, there was time a few weekends ago to visit the Griffith Observatory. And when I say “there was time”, I actually mean that a photography client requested the location for their family photos so we were able to go.
You can see the whole city from up there. The air is crisp, the sun is warm, and it’s a great spot for everything from working out to catching up on your reading. Both of which I’m incredibly behind on!
So how is your blog coming along? Have you made any big changes lately? Leave me links in the comments so I can stop by & check our your little home on the internet!
I’m excited to make the move to a self-hosted blog! LoveNiki.com will be my official home! So what happens here to this here wordpress site? Well, here are the answers to a very few important questions.
Where can I read LoveNiki? You can continue to read the LoveNiki blog at LoveNiki.com (It will be available on bloglovin’ after a couple weeks)
Will I continue to be subscribed to your new blog? Yes, wordpress will be helping me switch all my subscribers over to my new self-hosted blog! BUT if you want to receive new posts via email, you’ll need to sign-up at LoveNiki.com, there’s a subscription box on the right hand side under my photo.
What does self-hosted mean? Basically, I’m moving from wordpress.com to wordpress.org which allows me to have more control over my site & help me grow it.
Can I visit the new site? Of course! The site will be live while it is being worked on :) Everything should be officially finalized in a week.
Life seems to be moving faster than ever. And so much is changing! It’s exciting to see what great adventures are around the next bend.
Saturday night I went to a rodeo/western themed charity auction and now I’m obsessed with all things western, country, and cowgirl-esque. I found this photo on pinterest and had to share! If you stop by the blog tomorrow I’ll be sharing photos from the event & telling you about an amazing thing known as equestrian therapy!
Blogging opens doors to new friendships with lovely people. It’s one of the best perks. You realize how many other dreamers out there are in hot pursuit of their dreams and it’s both inspiring & motivating. One such friend, Kristy recently opened an adorable etsy store, Winifred & Delilah.
Her pieces are cute, playful and handmade. And yes, they’re affordable! Lol. I love showing support for people who put their heart and creativity into something. So if you have a chance be sure stop by and browse her little shop! Her Links: Shop| Instagram| Twitter
Outfit details at the bottom :)
$7.99 Front Tie T-Shirt| $9.99 Neutral Maxi| $14.99 Studded Sandals
My entire outfit is from Ross! Which unfortunately means no links but I purchased everything recently so you’re likely to find it all in store right now (store merchandise does very but…they always have great stuff!).
Also, I’m enjoying rocking the messy bed hair waves. They fit my personality. Lol. Would you guys be interested in a tutorial?
I came across these pretty photos on tumblr and had to share. I don’t know where they originated but I loooove pink! So, this is my shameless Friday copy post. Lol. Thank you tumblr for helping a girl enjoy one of her color obsessions<3
What’s your favorite color?
