Aquarium of the Pacific

White dress

I visited the Aquarium of the Pacific for a Sunday date with my babe :) I loved that there were so many things you could touch. I was able to pet a shark, a sting ray, and a jelly fish!

And thanks to Goldstar.com we only paid half price to get in. Pretty awesome right? As far as my look goes, I wore a simple white dress with a bright and colorful peacock scarf that I tied into a vest. I have pinterest to thank for this cool idea: Scarf Vest DIY

If you’re considering making a trip to the aquarium I do recommend it but you should be prepared to have to deal with A LOT of kids. I make get a little heat just for saying for this but I want to be honest with you guys. We were push, shoved, and surrounded by crying, screaming and loud kids in every exhibit. They were pretty much running wild.

Just a head up incase you thought you were going to get a quiet and romantic day at the aquarium. Lol. All that considered, is the aquarium a place you’d like to visit? The animals alone are worth it!

For about the price of a movie ticket ($12) you can gaze upon the giants of the Mesozoic era! The Natural History Museum also offers a variety of exhibits on modern day animals and plants. You can literally stare down a polar and stand inches away from a gorilla. And there’s no need to worry about how all those creatures ended up behind the glass, most of them died of natural causes.

Are you in the L.A. area and want to check it out? I’ll put all the info below for you. And let me just say this, be sure to look in the long wooden boxes that line some of the hallways…. who knows, you might catch a glimpse of a mystical sea monster…but you’re going to have to visit the museum to find out!
