I had envisioned wearing this shirt dress with knee high sweater socks, boots, and a scarf but since it warmed up this weekend I had to switch things up a bit. I know everyone is saying this but I too am ready for Fall! I want to wear sweaters and boots and all things warm and cozy!
I hope you had a lovely weekend! Let me know if you need outfit ideas for anything :)

The San Diego Safari Park is pretty awesome. Well, if you like animals it’s awesome. It’s a zoo taken to the next level. And your admission fee goes to helping out all the animals you see so it’s easy to justify spending $40 to get in. You can also pay from exclusive safaris that focus on different animals.
If you’re planning to be in San Diego soon, definitely check it out!

$6 F21 clearance skirt| Old Bamboo Heels from Burlington| Joie Striped Button-up| F21 Heart Bag
Interview style, day 2! Paired with the right top, a faux leather skirt can add the perfect amount of…of…. rawr! …to your outfit without making it look like you’re about to hit the club. My personal approach to interviews is to show them that I’m serious about the position but also show that I’m not pretending to be someone I’m not.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t suggest showing up in a mini dress and 6 inch stilettos, but let some of your personal style shine through. You want them to see the real you. Maybe that sounds cheesy but I’m an eternal optimist and I really do believe it’ll all work out the way it’s suppose to.
Hope your hump day has been splendid. Let me know what you’re up to!
Forever 21 Gold Flats: Similar| Forever 21 Satin Trim Blazer: Similar| Joie Top | Kohl’s Gold Baroque Pants
Why are these the best baroque pants? Because, as I might have mentioned before….they were only $10 at Kohl’s! Since I dubbed February love month, I thought this week should be about doing what you love. In just a few months a lot of you will graduate from high school or college and there’ll be one thing standing between you and that dream opportunity, an interview.
Maybe it’s for an entry level job in the field you’re passionate about or an amazing summer internship. Either way, I wanted to help by sharing a few interview outfit ideas this week. First up, is a business look with a lot of personality. I think this outfit is great if you want to look sharp but also show that you are bold and different.
Do you have any interviews coming up? Do you love your current job?
Only a few days left until Valentine’s day! And I have a fun handmade gift idea to share with you :) My friend Bree makes cute duct tape wallets that you can have customized. I love that they’re a unique gift and that she makes them herself. There’s something truly endearing about anything homemade. I think it’s because you know that if someone is using their free time to work on a project than there’s love and passion behind it.
You can check out Bree’s Facebook HERE and tomorrow I’ll be featuring her adorable heart clutch wallet!
Since my boyfriend was nice enough to join me for the photos, we ended up shooting with his cousin Christina. She’s a talented photographer and I really hope we can work with her again soon!
Let me know what you guys think about these awesome duct tape wallets. How would you have yours customized?!
Hi :) So I’m keeping these date night outfit posts pretty simple. But I have some very creative posts coming up in the next few weeks (so excited!) and I think that’ll create a nice balance.
This skirt is from… you guessed it…Forever 21. Lol. I wish there were more options within that price range. On the bright side, there’s a huge F21 by my house with a pretty big selection of stuff.
My shoes are sooo old but surprisingly comfy. They’re a $20 Ross find. And last but not least, my top is made by the company I work for Joie :)
I hope your week is off to a great start!
Interested in my outfit details? You’ll have to wait! Subscribe to LoveNikiTV on youtube to be the first to see my new fashion video later this week!
This week’s video is part of a series I’m calling Fashion Tales. Fashion Tales are a fun and creative way of sharing outfits with you through storytelling :)
Hope to see you on youtube!

Merry day after Christmas! I decided to take a different approach to my Christmas outfit this year. Normally I throw on a dress and heels but this time I went with an entirely different look. I like to switch things up.
My dad was my guest photographer for the day! He did a great job :) Some photos came out a bit blurry but he only had about 10 mins to learn my camera. Lol. It was a fun Christmas day at the park with my parents. What did you do yesterday?
