This morning I shared with you a Lea Michele inspired look and mentioned that it seems to be a popular choice for celebs right now. And than! I came across this photo of Olivia Wilde wearing the tuxedo look to the London premiere for her new film Rush!
She’s wearing Gucci which I’m sure costs more than car but all you need is a basic fitted blazer and your choice of bottoms to make this look work! I listed a few link below in case you’re in need of a blazer :)
Forever 21 Shawl Lapel Blazer $32.80
Charlotte Russe Pyramid Stud Button Blazer $34.99
ASOS Blazer in Crepe w/Slim Lapel $75.94

I took an extra outfit with me to the desert on Saturday. Little did I know that the wind would be so intense! On the bright side I was able to get one non hair whipped face photo. Lol.
I’m still really loving the high-waisted skirt & crop top look. I just saw Kelly Osbourne’s Cosmo cover and I’m feeling inspired by her version of the trendy look. I want to recreate it using this skirt, a bustier, and a cute button-up. Maybe I’ll try that this weekend :)
Hope you’re all doing well!
Lots of love,

I get to go shopping Sunday! It’s been a while since I last did some serious shopping. I’m definitely going to be hunting down deals to get the most bang for my buck. That’s sort of what inspired today’s post. I wish every season meant a brand new wardrobe but the reality of it is that, I have to find ways to rock seasonal stuff all year round. It allows you to have more outfit options no matter what time of year it is.
Major props to my mom for playing my photographer this morning! I think she did a great job. And yes, these shots would have been extra cool if I drove a Lambo or something but I don’t. Lol. I drive an ’98 honda civic and I love it! It’s the first and only car I’ve ever owned :)

Happy Monday! Today’s look is inspired by a very popular fashion blogger, Blair Eadie of Atlantic Pacific. I love her style and her signature dark shades. I think my personal style has a different vibe but I definitely lust over a lot of her pieces.
My goal was to recreate an outfit similar to the one Blair had on HERE while still keeping it affordable. My skirt is actually a dress so that’s automatically 2 pieces for the price of one. My shades are a $5 swapmeet find! I love them. I’ve always wanted some cool Ray-Bans but they cost way more than five dollars. My sweater was $25 from Forever 21, but everything in the photo was already in my closet so I spent $0 on this look :)
Is there another blogger’s look you’d like to see recreated? Or maybe you’d like to see a celebrity’s outfit recreated in an affordable way? Let me know!
Since you’ll be seeing me rock the same pair of jean shorts I’ll week I had to give you guys a little something extra! Check out my latest youtube video on LoveNiki TV and be sure to subscribe!! Youtube.com/MsLoveNiki

Happy Thursday morning! I’ve offically blown all Christmas gift card and clothing money. Lol. But I’m pretty proud of myself for making a big effort to create a wardrobe I love. No more settling, not this year. And I found great sales on quality stuff this past weekend.
If you haven’t been to Fashion Island in Newport Beach, CA, you should definitely check it out. There’s a good mix of high and low end stores. Plus they have a pet shop with bunnies and puppies out for you to pet and love<3
What did you spend your Christmas money on?

Sunday afternoon I checked out the Pinney Victorian House. It was built in 1887 as a 30 room hotel. It’s always cool to find hidden treasures like this in your own backyard. And on Saturday I went to the Forever 21 opening I mentioned to you guys, hence the new shorts ;) It was such a fun event. All the employees lined up in a tunnel to cheer us on as we entered the store and received a complimentary gift card.
I hope you had a fun weekend! Did you do anything out of the ordinary?

I spent the weekend in Newport Beach and had a great time. While we drove around Will spotted this cool yellow house and we decided to shoot some photos on the side of it. This look focuses on the idea of a rebel-party girl who has to head home in the morning…naughty naughty! It was a fun concept and it always feels good to embrace your wild side a bit.
How do you guys feel about the look? Would you wear an outfit like this?
