It’s cold, it’s hot, it’s raining, and now it’s sunny. That’s just how it is in Cali hence the sweater, shorts and boots combo. On the one hand I like the amount of warm sunshine but it’d be nice to have real seasons. Lol. Maybe things will cool down by Thanksgiving. *Fingers Crossed*
Luck is on her side. There is a small garage in the back that is no longer in use and if the blue prints she found are correct, there is also a little known passage into the factory through here.
Tomorrow she will enter in disguise and gather information on the factory owner, Edwardo Bronte, and his black market dealings. Edwardo is an evil man who has spent most of his life engaged in selling various contraband, drugs, and even the occasional organ.
I had envisioned wearing this shirt dress with knee high sweater socks, boots, and a scarf but since it warmed up this weekend I had to switch things up a bit. I know everyone is saying this but I too am ready for Fall! I want to wear sweaters and boots and all things warm and cozy!
I hope you had a lovely weekend! Let me know if you need outfit ideas for anything :)
Saturday night I went to a rodeo/western themed charity auction and now I’m obsessed with all things western, country, and cowgirl-esque. I found this photo on pinterest and had to share! If you stop by the blog tomorrow I’ll be sharing photos from the event & telling you about an amazing thing known as equestrian therapy!
I’m about a month early with this red, white and blue look but the color combo was perfect for a mini road trip to the desert. We (bf+me) went to shoot some footage we needed for a webseries we (bf + me + team) are working on. The wind was so intense! The second I stepped out of the car I felt like I might be blown away.
So….slowly but surely I’m getting back in shape! I’ve started taking mini breaks during the day to do squats, weights, and lunges. I try to do atleast 2 sets of 10 every time I stand up. The awesome part is that without realizing it, by the end of the I’ve done tons of reps! I’m excited. I hope I can still tone it all up before slipping into my swimsuit this summer :)
Have you already picked out your summer swimsuit? Show me!!! Lol
I get to go shopping Sunday! It’s been a while since I last did some serious shopping. I’m definitely going to be hunting down deals to get the most bang for my buck. That’s sort of what inspired today’s post. I wish every season meant a brand new wardrobe but the reality of it is that, I have to find ways to rock seasonal stuff all year round. It allows you to have more outfit options no matter what time of year it is.
Major props to my mom for playing my photographer this morning! I think she did a great job. And yes, these shots would have been extra cool if I drove a Lambo or something but I don’t. Lol. I drive an ’98 honda civic and I love it! It’s the first and only car I’ve ever owned :)
Happy Thursday morning! I’ve offically blown all Christmas gift card and clothing money. Lol. But I’m pretty proud of myself for making a big effort to create a wardrobe I love. No more settling, not this year. And I found great sales on quality stuff this past weekend.
If you haven’t been to Fashion Island in Newport Beach, CA, you should definitely check it out. There’s a good mix of high and low end stores. Plus they have a pet shop with bunnies and puppies out for you to pet and love<3
What did you spend your Christmas money on?
Happy Tuesday lovely readers :) Today I’m sharing one way to wear this week’s theme, “Blue Booties”. I paired my booties with a simple white Jessica Simpson dress. Basic colors like white, black and grey pair well with bright bold shoes. I wanted to tie the dress together with my shoes a little more so I added in my blue H&M coat . Although the coat is a different shade of blue it works well because it’s dark and a more subtle shade.
Stacy Kiebler wore a similar coat by Tory Burch that you can check out here and of course I have to cover my girls on a budget so here’s a very affordable but just as cute option for ya ;) $29.99 Alloy Double-breasted Peacoat
And if your’re doing some very early Christmas shopping for the guy in your life, you can check out the blue Burberry coat Usher wore here. And when you realize that the Burberry coat costs more than your rent, don’t panic. I found you an affordable look alike from Old Navy: $50 Old Navy Coat.
How are you feeling about this week’s theme? What would you pair your blue booties with?
