Atlantic Pacific Inspired Outfit

AtlanticPacificNordstrom Dress: Here| Forever 21 Sweater: Similar| Pointy Kitten Heel: Similar

Happy Monday! Today’s look is inspired by a very popular fashion blogger, Blair Eadie of Atlantic Pacific. I love her style and her signature dark shades. I think my personal style has a different vibe but I definitely lust over a lot of her pieces.

My goal was to recreate an outfit similar to the one Blair had on HERE while still keeping it affordable. My skirt is actually a dress so that’s automatically 2 pieces for the price of one. My shades are a $5 swapmeet find! I love them. I’ve always wanted some cool Ray-Bans but they cost way more than five dollars. My sweater was $25 from Forever 21, but everything in the photo was already in my closet so I spent $0 on this look :)

Is there another blogger’s look you’d like to see recreated? Or maybe you’d like to see a celebrity’s outfit recreated in an affordable way? Let me know!

Leopard Skirt Romance

leopardhighlow leopardOutfit LeopardSkirtHi :) So I’m keeping these date night outfit posts pretty simple. But I have some very creative posts coming up in the next few weeks (so excited!) and I think that’ll create a nice balance.

This skirt is from… you guessed it…Forever 21. Lol. I wish there were more options within that price range. On the bright side, there’s a huge F21 by my house with a pretty big selection of stuff.

My shoes are sooo old but surprisingly comfy. They’re a $20 Ross find. And last but not least, my top is made by the company I work for Joie :)

I hope your week is off to a great start!

Love,

Niki

Pink Shoes and a Silly Face

Nike Flex Shoes

Silly FaceAwesome Nike Flex Shoes

We made it to Wednesday! Let the weekend countdown commence! So I wanted to focus in on my shoes really quickly because they make me super happy Lol. I beat my last pair up for a good two years and finally needed to get something more supportive for running. These hot pink Nike Flex shoes feel amazing, they’re very flexible. Plus they’re on sale right now!

On another note, I think it’s important to remember that life is about having fun. So no matter what you’re doing, enjoy it, have fun and try to not take yourself too seriously (This is one of my new year’s resolutions). And so in keeping with my resolution… I also wanted to share my mismatched socks & silly face with you. Happy Wednesday :)

Lots of love,

Niki

Weekly Theme: Blue Booties

Hello lovely readers, have you checked out the new blog format? There’s a theme for each week and a whole new set up! You can click the calendar tab to find out more.

This week’s theme is blue booties! Above is my brand new pair of blue booties from Charlotte Russe. They were $38.50, so I could actually afford them! You can see them here

If you want to super splurge or oogle a pricey pair, check out Nicholas Kirkwood’s Suede Ankle Boots for $895

or if you’re a bargain hunter, you can find this pair on Target’s website: Hailey Jeans Co High Heel Bootie for $39.99

Splurge/Save Verdict: Save! For $40 you can get a great pair of blue booties, there’s no need to blow the big bucks on these guys. Plus I’ve realized how this color can be a bit hard to pair with outfits so it’s not likely to become a major staple item.

What do you guys think? Would you like to add a pair to your shoe collection?

Love,

Niki
