Renaissance Faire Outfit

RenaissanceFaireThis outfit was inspired by…..the renaissance period! I love the renaissance faire so much. The costumes, the axe throwing, the everything! I was able to rent my costume there but I did purchase the furry hood shown above from a very creative and talented vendor. She made it out of ugly old sweaters, cool huh? This faire runs until Sunday May 19th and is located in Irwindale, CA. If your interested in going CLICK HERE for more info and to buy tickets. It’s definitely worth the price of admission!

Sunday Dress

polkadot dresscuteoutfitpolkadotscasualdressI hope your Easter was wonderful! Yesterday’s outfit was a last minute ensemble and it cost me $200, not. Lol. The dress is a million years old and the cardigan has been around a few years but I had surprisingly never worn them together. I feel like only having a few minutes to put something together can lead to some unexpectedly cute outfits….most of the time.

Did you spend a lot on an Easter dress?

Niki

Style Thief: Emma’s Blue Dress

First off, I must thank the wind for blowing and adding frizz to my hair. On the bright side, Emma usually keeps her hair pretty simple and casual so let’s just say this hair situation was planned. Lol.

I really liked the color of Emma’s dress but I definitely went with the edgier version of her look. The gold studs on the collar and form fitting shape are the biggest differences but they are more in line with my personal style.

Which blue dress would you be more likely to wear?

Steal Emma Stone’s Style!

Emma Stone Floral Dress

FloralDress FloralDress3 FloralDress1photoWelcome to Style Thief Week on LoveNiki! I’ll be featuring Emma Stone as our celeb style inspiration all week :)

I’m crazy excited to share today’s look with you. My dress was inspired by the floral Dolce & Gabbana dress Emma wore to the Spiderman movie premiere in Spain. Now, We all know that a Dolce & Gabbana anything costs a pretty penny but my floral dress was only about $30! And you can find it at H&M!

Are you an Emma Stone fan? What do you think of her style and her movies? I think she’s funny and Spiderman was pretty good.

Love,

Niki

Style Remix: Pink Dress

RemixPinkText

IMG_1451

IMG_1430_2The first of many style remixes on LoveNiki! I have to be honest, my bank account and closet are not endless. So I like to be creative and rework pieces.

My sweater was a $10 Kohl’s clearance find and my Forever 21 dress was only $15 dollars! First off, $15 is a steal for a dress. And the fact that it can double as a sheer and flirty maxi well…that’s pretty awesome in my book.

I hope these remixes help you get the most out of your wardrobe. Is there a dress in your closet that you can try this with?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! It was freezing cold Monday night so although I had picked this dress out to wear I ended up in a pair of pants! But I was able to wear it out for a fun Korean BBQ date at ChoSun Galbee Saturday night. Mmmm….Korean BBQ….drooling. Have you ever tried it?

I hope you had a fun & safe New Year’s Eve! And I’m curious to know what you wore. Did you glam it up or bundle up in comfy casual clothes? Let me know :)

Vintage Class Photo Shoot

I loved putting this outfit together! There has always been a soft spot in my heart for all things vintage. The look was inspired by vintage glamour in general but I created a more modern version of a classic vintage look. My dress is Guess and my heels are from Burlington Coat Factory.

A big thanks goes out to my boyfriend William. He is an awesome photographer and we always have a blast when we shoot. I hope you guys like the look, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Cloudy Malibu Day

As a californian, you spend lots of time at the beach. Malibu, featured here, has some really nice beaches and shorelines. I spent the day with my bf walking on the sand in my purple sun dress from Ross $10 and some hand me down sandals from my mom. I wore my swimsuit underneath but it was a bit too cold for me to want to get in the water. I also added a flower to my messy beach hair to keep it from looking too messy!

Just another beautiful day and a relaxing adventure.

Niki
