Is your beauty budget a little tight right now? Don’t worry, I’ve been a drugstore makeup girl for a long time! I love to try new things whenever I have extra spending money but I also like knowing which products I can rely on.
Maybelline has the best foundation and powder. You get a natural airbrush finish for only $10, best deal ever. I also really like Covergirl’s cheekers blush. It’s blendable and buildable so you can achieve subtle and more dramatic looks with it.
The mascara, bronzer, and eyeliner I have in my bag keep me pretty happy but I tend to experiment with different products when it comes to these things.
I’m starting to run low on some of my makeup which means I get to shop for more soon…yay!….so if you have a favorite drugstore product let me know so I can try it out!
This outfit was inspired by…..the renaissance period! I love the renaissance faire so much. The costumes, the axe throwing, the everything! I was able to rent my costume there but I did purchase the furry hood shown above from a very creative and talented vendor. She made it out of ugly old sweaters, cool huh? This faire runs until Sunday May 19th and is located in Irwindale, CA. If your interested in going CLICK HERE for more info and to buy tickets. It’s definitely worth the price of admission!

Nordstrom Dress: Here| Forever 21 Sweater: Similar| Pointy Kitten Heel: Similar
Happy Monday! Today’s look is inspired by a very popular fashion blogger, Blair Eadie of Atlantic Pacific. I love her style and her signature dark shades. I think my personal style has a different vibe but I definitely lust over a lot of her pieces.
My goal was to recreate an outfit similar to the one Blair had on HERE while still keeping it affordable. My skirt is actually a dress so that’s automatically 2 pieces for the price of one. My shades are a $5 swapmeet find! I love them. I’ve always wanted some cool Ray-Bans but they cost way more than five dollars. My sweater was $25 from Forever 21, but everything in the photo was already in my closet so I spent $0 on this look :)
Is there another blogger’s look you’d like to see recreated? Or maybe you’d like to see a celebrity’s outfit recreated in an affordable way? Let me know!
I experimented with a new nail art design last night. I like it :) but I could only paint my left hand. Lol
Buckets: Target| Candy: Walmart| Eggs & Grass: Fresh & Easy
Easter supplies for 3 little buckets plus tax comes to a whopping grand total of $10. Pretty sweet right? Want to know what’s even more awesome about this? I had plenty of extra candy, a few eggs, and grass to fill some of the bigger Easter baskets I was working on. Did you put any baskets together this past weekend?
